The music of the church is one of its greatest treasures.  It can embrace and inspire in times of joy and sorrow.  It can be a tool of evangelism.  It can bind the hearts of the faithful together as they sing a much-loved hymn or call them forward in their spiritual journey as they discover the wondrous transformation of marvelous words and music.  It can bring us closer to God, to each other, and to ourselves.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the great love song that kindles and motivates and sustains the music at First Baptist of Monroe.
