The body of believers within First Baptist Church, Monroe gather together for weekly worship of God every Sunday morning beginning at 10:45 AM in our church's sanctuary. Our services would be clasified as "traditional" with the goal being to glorify God with both our heads and hearts. Worship is planned by the ministry staff of the church and is lead each week by both staff and fellowship participants. We follow the common lectionary with the public reading of scripture,  make use of call and response statements of worshipers, have both congregational and choir lead music, and thoughtful proclamation from scripture for the challenging and deepening of congregants faith lives. Our music is lead by live instruments, primairly the organ and piano, with occasional accompaniments from other instruments. You will find both men and women facilitatitng worship, as well as all ages represented in carrying out the aspects of hte service.
